A commitment born from experience
In one situation, a guest experienced multiple room moves due to a property-wide heating issue. I made the decision to take full ownership—apologized, secured another hotel, and covered the stay to ensure her well-being. That decision led to me being let go, but it reinforced something I strongly believe: when systems are broken, culture suffers—and when culture suffers, the guest experience declines. That moment is what led me to build GZ Hospitality Consultancy—focused on creating strong systems, supporting teams, and ensuring guests receive the experience they deserve.
